Quiz Show

I was actually impressed with how good Quiz Show is overall. Love all the layers to the story on top of the titular scandal, specifically the not so subtle subtext of the scandal leading to American intellectualism dying.

It’s not perfect by any stretch. It overstays it’s welcome by about 20 or 30 minutes and Rob Marrow is really hamming it up. But the performances by Fiennes and the final act really tie it all together so well that it ends up better than it has any business being.

On a random note, Ralph Fiennes really looks like Bradley Cooper in this & gives off similar energy to Cooper throughout the film.
