This was so sweet & heartfelt! Quite amazing how this film is a relic of cinema history - you’ve got Julia Roberts in her 2nd film & breakout role, Vincent D’Onofrio in his fourth movie, & then an hour and a half into it Matt Damon shows up for thirty seconds to make his film debut!
The legendary casting made me curious who was the casting director. Turns out it was the same casting directors who cast Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Home Alone, When Harry Met Sally, Toy Story, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Beetlejuice, The Princess Bride, Casino Royale, Space Jam, A Few Good Men, Mrs. Doubtfire, & so many more.
I love how the more movies you watched the more you learn about how interconnected everything is & grow to appreciate all members of the crew. As a kid you only think about the actors, then you learn what a director is & you obsess over that, and eventually it branches out to all members of a crew. Such a beautiful thing.
