Aaron's Thoughts
Never expected this to move me as much as this did. Engaging from the beginning & gripping till the final shot all while having a lot on its mind.
I’m starting to come around to the idea that horror is one of the most effective genres to convey ideas/themes to an audience (when done well). I know that “elevated horror” is starting to become a bit overdone, but I can’t help but fall in love with some of these early films that started the trend. Makes sense why we’ve gotten to the point where there are too many!
