Every now and then I’ll try to listen to a podcast on 2x speed & get so overwhelmed 5 minutes into it that I switch back to normal speed.
If you bottle up that feeling and infuse it into a feature length film, you will get a feel for how I felt watching this. I kid you not I was playing around with my settings to see if watching the film on half speed would be better.
Can certainly see the charm of the film though & that worked on me when I wasn’t completely overwhelmed by the chaotic speed of the dialogue and 50 people talking at once.
