Maybe it’s because my expectations were remarkably low, but it surprised me how watchable this was. As far as cash grab & nostalgic bait sequels goes, it may actually be one of the better ones in recent memory? It was nice to see that Lohan is still capable of giving performances better than the Netflix slop she has been leaning into in recent years.
Also, there is a scene in this that seems to be a direct homage to Licorice Pizza? It’s actually more than that because it’s almost an identical scene in what looks like the exact same location. Pretty cool to put that nod to the real heads in a Disney sequel film! At least for me 😂
